Italian Actor Luca Franzese Posts Emotional Video From Italy With Dead Sister Amid Coronavirus Outbreak

Luca Franzese is calling out the Italian government in a cry for help.

The martial arts trainer who appeared in the TV drama Gomorrah posted a series of videos on Facebook amid the ongoing coronavirus outbreak.

In the videos, Luca said that his sister Teresa, 47, died in their home after being diagnosed with COVID-19, and her body remained in their home for over 24 hours because authorities were not helping. According to her brother, Teresa suffered from epilepsy.

“To keep my sister alive, I tried to give her mouth to mouth resuscitation and no one cared, no one is calling me,” he said.

Teresa‘s body was also visible in the background of the videos.

“My sister died yesterday, probably because of the virus, and I’ve been waiting for answers since last night. Guys, we are ruined. Italy has abandoned us,” he said.

He also said in another video that three more members of the family tested positive for coronavirus.

“The nightmare goes on,” he went on to say.

Italian news website Open later confirmed that a local politician contacted Luca after the first video was posted, and had located a funeral home for his sister’s body.
