It’s no secret that many of our favorite celebrity couples have met on the set of their hit movies and TV shows, but it’s not always the case as much as we might hope. The truth is, most of the onscreen chemistry on our favorite shows results from great acting. But fortunately for Sex/Life fans, Adam Demos‘ onscreen chemistry with his co-star hasn’t remained exclusive to the set.
In fact, things seem to be heating up more intensely in real life than on the Netflix show — and that’s saying a lot.
Adam Demos plays Brad in ‘Sex/Life’
You likely know Demos as Brad Simon, the ex-boyfriend of leading lady Billie Connelly on Sex/Life. Brad is a big-name music producer and CEO of his own record label, re-entering the main character’s life as the what-if boy from her past. As she fights her passion for Brad, Billie must decide between him and her husband.
Believe it or not, this role isn’t Demos’ first — although it might be his most notable. Demos has also starred in series such as UnREAL as August Walker, Janet King as Nate Baldwin, and Rescue Special Ops as Gilligan. He has only 11 acting credits to his name since 2009, IMDb reports.
However, Sex/Life will likely open him up to many other opportunities. So expect his acting résumé to grow from here.
Who is Adam Demos dating in real life?
To the satisfaction of Sex/Life fans everywhere, Demos is dating his co-star Sarah Shahi. They began getting hot and heavy in 2020, just after her divorce from Howey.
And as you see on the show, their chemistry is undeniable, and their passion is obvious. It seems the two Sex/Life stars brought the same heat to their real-life relationship that they display in the series.
“Not exactly sure how two people on opposite sides of the world could have more in common, were meant to meet, were meant to be together. But I do know I met my soulmate,” Shahi wrote on Instagram this past May.

Although you’d think it would be easy to track down an actor’s past relationships, Demos’ personal life has remained quite private over the years. This is likely due to his lack of phenomenal TV or movie success so far — people weren’t paying close attention to his personal life.
His social media and history don’t indicate if Demos has had any serious relationships. He’s likely had his share of flings, but it wasn’t until he met and began dating Shahi that he’s gone public with any of his romances.
This might signal that things are heating up for the two co-stars, meaning wedding bells could be in their future. Either way, we hope they maintain their steamy chemistry onscreen in Sex/Life.
