I'm A Celebrity fans accuse bosses of 'fixing' Bushtucker Trial result

I’m A Celebrity fans accuse bosses of ‘fixing’ results after Matt Hancock avoids being voted for TWO trials – and everyone is saying the same thing

Furious fans of I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! have accused bosses of ‘fixing’ the show’s Bushtucker Trial result, after Matt Hancock’s six-trial streak came to an end.

The former Health Secretary was voted to face a string of challenges by the public when he entered the camp last week.

But on Monday, it was revealed that Boy George, Chris Moyles and Babatunde Aleshe had been chosen for the latest trial, with many noting it was suspicious that Matt was abruptly no longer viewers’ top choice.

That’s not right! Fans of I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here have accused bosses of ‘fixing’ the show’s Bushtucker Trial result, after Matt Hancock’s six-trial streak came to an end

George, Chris and Babatunde were chosen to face Tuesday’s trial, named Angel Of Agony, and only managed to win three stars out of a possible 11.

The fact that Matt wasn’t one of three celebrities voted to face the challenge, when he had been top choice for numerous trials beforehand, immediately caught viewers’ attention.

One tweeted: ‘You’re telling me the same public are voting for Matt Hancock to do trials (least popular) AND camp leader (most popular)?? I smell an ITV fix for desperate ratings.’

What’s going on? Viewers couldn’t hide their suspicion when Boy George, Babatunde Aleshe and Chris Moyles were chosen to face Tuesday’s challenge

How odd! The fact that Matt wasn’t one of three celebrities voted to face the challenge, when he had been top choice for five trials beforehand, immediately caught viewers’ attention

Another added: ‘@ITV will fix the vote again tonight so don’t bother voting guys it will be Matt on the next trial.’

A third tweeted: ‘I can’t believe three of them got more votes than Matt to do the trial. Definitely a fix.’

One also posted: ‘So for days, Hancock gets voted for trials. Suddenly he isn’t among the top 3!! Not buying it.’

A fan also tweeted: ‘@MattHancock actually thinks he’s great and been accepted. I don’t believe for a second he was not voted by the public to do another trial. @ITV are messing with it all.’

What’s going on? Viewers were not sure how Matt Hancock managed to avoid being picked for the three-man trial

Again? Fans continued their claims the following night, when hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly revealed Chris Moyles (pictured) had been voted to face the next trial, Boiling Point

Fans continued their claims the following night, when hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly revealed Chris had been voted to face the next trial, Boiling Point.

One viewer added: ‘Everyone: Sick of Matt doing trials. Everyone: It’s fix how Matt isn’t doing them anymore.’

A second added: ‘Absolute fix! No way Handcock isn’t most voted!’ While a third posted: ‘Babatunde exempt in case he fails miserably again!!! Fix.’

Reaction: They once again took to social media to share their thoughts, claiming it was odd Matt hadn’t been chosen

However one fan was quick to note that many viewers had complained about Matt being voted for every trial, so it was no surprise they’d tired of him.

They wrote: ‘People have been moaning the last few days about Matt Hancock keep getting voted. When he does’nt they are saying it’s a fix, make your mind up!’

Elsewhere during Tuesday’s show, Boy George has admitted that he’s finding it difficult to gel with politician Matt Hancock in the jungle.

‘Make your mind up!’ However one fan was quick to note that many viewers had complained about Matt being voted for every trial, so it was no surprise they’d tired of him

Speaking to campmate Sue Cleaver in a private chat on Tuesday’s show, the singer said he finds Matt, 44, ‘very hard to warm to’.

‘I find him very hard to warm to,’ Boy George began.

‘Everyone else I feel connected to in a kind of… without having to know the ins and outs of who you are,’ he said.

Sue said it’s because Matt is in the jungle surrounded by ‘creative’ types.

‘You’ve got an economist in a camp with a load of creatives,’ she began.

‘I find him very hard to warm to’: Elsewhere in the episode, Boy George slammed Matt while chatting to Sue Cleaver

‘He’s math all the way, he uses a different side of his brain. Do you know what I mean?’ she added.

At the end of the episode, Chris was voted to do his second Bushtucker Trial as it was announced he was voted by the public to do Boiling Point.

Chris looked gutted and was consoled by his fellow campmates as Ant and Dec revealed the latest trial would see him ‘reach boiling point’.

Meanwhile, Matt and the rest of the housemates all looked shocked when he managed to escape the trial.
