Idris Elba stuns reveller who got rejected from Soho bar as he helps him and his friends get in – and ‘even offers to buy the group a table!’

Idris Elba showed off his generous side as he helped a reveller and his friends get into a nightclub after initially being rejected by bouncer. 

TikTok user @s2inDacuttt has shared the moment the actor, 49, using his magic to barter with security to allow the group to enter cocktail bar Club 49 in Soho.  

The TikToker claims not only did Idris help him get into the club, but he offered to buy the group a table, reports Deadline News.

Video filmed by the party-goer, which was uploaded on Tuesday, showed Idris talking to staff at the club, and when they let him and his pals in, he said: ‘Hey thanks for that man, I’m a big fan.’

Idris replied: ‘Hey, no worries man’, before the pair fist bumped. 

In another video, Idris told the staff: ‘Look after them for me, yeah?’ before turning to the TikToker and saying: ‘I want to make sure they give it to you though’.

Idris plays DCI Stringer Bell in the HBO series The Wire and DCI John Luther in BBC One’s Luther.
