Holly Willoughby says she ‘loved’ all three of her labours: ‘It’s a magical thing’

Holly Willoughby has opened up on her past births with all three of her children, and despite undergoing some struggles during labour, the presenter has insisted she "loved" every single one.

The 40 year old mum-of-three shared her experience on Monday's edition of This Morning, where she also showed viewers a hilarious way of eating a cupcake, as she chatted away with co-host Phillip Schofield, 59.

Mum-of-three declared that giving birth is a truly "magical thing", and even admitted she sometimes feels jealous of women who are about to have the experience.

The star was hosting a call-in with Phil when she squealed in response to one viewer who revealed she was getting ready to have her first baby over the Christmas period.

"Can I just say, really enjoy it!" Holly encouraged with a grin as she sat clad in a deep purple fitted top and berry-coloured sequin skirt for the show.

"I know that when it's your first, you're always quite nervous about what it's gonna be like and if it's all gonna be okay."

Holly shares son Harry, 12, daughter Belle, 10, and little boy Chester, seven, with her husband Dan Baldwin, 46, a TV producer.

The couple met in 2006 and got married just a year later at the majestic Amberley Castle in West Sussex.

Holly went on to say: "I loved all three of my labours. They were all completely different, and some of them weren't straightforward, but I really enjoyed it.

"It's a really magical, special thing you're about to go through," the fashion brand ambassador added. "And I'm really jealous of anyone who's about to go into labour, because it's the best experience ever."

Phil, who had opted for a blue tartan shirt and gazed on at his longtime friend during the call-in, smiled in agreement as he remembered how much Holly loved her pregnancies.

Holly has always kept pictures of her children to a minimum and is careful to obscure their identities.

The star opened up on her decision to keep them out of the limelight during an interview earlier this year, when she explained that by sharing just one image of their faces they're "out there" and you can't take it back.

Wylde Moon lifestyle brand creator Holly added that she's aware sharing any images of her children makes them "consumption for everybody".

When she was pregnant with Belle, Holly revealed that she had been suffering from migraines at the time, later explaining it was due to being anaemic. She gave birth a month early and unfortunately had to go through a whopping 50 hour labour.

Holly continued working right up until the end of her pregnancy with Chester, only embarking on maternity leave two weeks before she went into labour.
