Here's What Gwyneth Paltrow's New Wedding Band Looks Like

After a hush-hush wedding in the Hamptons, Gwyneth Paltrow let her followers get a sneak peek at one part of her wedding: the rings. According to People, Paltrow posted an image of her new hardware on Instagram the day after the ceremony.

Paltrow didn’t add any additional details. No caption, no sweet sentiments, and no emoji. The picture spoke for itself, with nothing but her hand, Falchuk’s hand, and the simple gold bands. The picture is the very first photo of the couple after the hush-hush wedding and although it doesn’t reveal much, it says everything that Paltrow and Falchuk want to say. They’re married, they’re happy, and they wanted to share, even though it’s not the full-blown glossy magazine spread that goop fans undoubtedly want.

People reports that the ceremony was a star-studded event. With the couple’s roster of celeb BFFs, that’s no surprise. Steven Spielberg, Cameron Diaz, Jerry Seinfeld, Benji Madden, and Robert Downey Jr. were all present and accounted for.

The magazine adds that the ceremony was a first for Paltrow. Though she was previously married to Chris Martin, they’d didn’t actually have a formal wedding. She turned to her pal Cameron Diaz for help, hoping to get some advice to have an under-the-radar wedding of her own. It looks like whatever help Diaz offered worked, because there are no paparazzi shots from the wedding.

When was this photo taken? 1940? ‘50? ‘70? Last summer? It’s this timeless beauty’s birthday today. She was born with endless gifts – big blue eyes, a brain and heart overflowing with curiosity, generosity and possibility and those heartbreakingly long legs that go on and on – but she never rests on any of them. Gwyneth, you are the hardest working person I know. From your first cup of coffee in the morning to your last cup of whiskey at night. From the gym to the office to homework at the kitchen table. You give us all of you, all the time. And always with a smile (well, almost always). Maybe that’s why, even though you are the best person ever, you keep getting better every year. Happy birthday, Love.

Diaz just celebrated her 46th birthday, getting a sweet message from her then-fiancé, saying that she was “getting better every year.” The two have met back in 2010, when Paltrow guest-starred on Glee, which Falchuck co-created alongside Ryan Murphy.
