You’re about to see a whole lot more of Boston Rob—the reality TV vet previously returned to Survivor in a special mentoring role on Island of the Idols, and he’s currently competing on Survivor’s all winners season with his wife Amber.
And while there have been a number of Survivor couples since the show first premiered 19 years ago, none are as legendary as Boston Rob Mariano and Amber. The two met on the show back in 2003, and they ended up getting married and having four kids.

Rob Mariano and Amber Brkich met on season eight of Survivor, titled Survivor: All-Stars. The two were allies for their entire season, and when Rob won the final immunity challenge, he picked Amber to go with him to the Final Two. At the live finale, Rob proposed to Amber (who was wearing an “I Love Rob”) shirt, and she said yes. Amber went on to win the season in a 4-3 vote.
When did Boston Rob and Amber get married?
Rob and Amber got married in on April 16, 2005 at the Atlantis Paradise Island in the Bahamas. A month later, CBS aired a two-hour special about their wedding called Rob and Amber Get Married.

Rob and Amber appeared on The Amazing Race season 7, where they came in second, and Amazing Race All-Stars, where they came in eighth place. The pair always maintained a cool head and they were notable for never fighting with each other.
In 2006, the couple filmed a reality show called Rob and Amber: Against the Odds. The show followed the couple as Rob attempted to become a professional poker player. The series only lasted one season, as Rob decided not to go forward with poker, and the couple left to appear on Amazing Race All-Stars.
