HBO released a sneak-peak trailer for Euphoria, its new series starring Zendaya. The cable network also aired a shortened version of the official teaser-trailer in many markets during its much-anticipated Season 8 premiere of Game of Thrones last night.
The upcoming Drake-produced series focuses on a group of attractive and sophisticated but highly-distracted teens dealing with all the pressures of sex, drugs, trauma and social media during their fast-paced high school years. The new series’ subject matter has already invited comparisons between the show and Degrassi: The Next Generation, the teen-angst series that gave Drake his first break as a young actor.
