Gregg Wallace has revealed how he maintains his three-stone weight loss – something that’s made harder by working as the co-host of MasterChef.

The TV presenter, 55, detailed his routine in a chat with Radio Times, explaining that he eats particular food during the day and will most likely skip dinner.

‘I might have a chocolate bar on the go for energy. I always eat breakfast as I’ve just come out of gym and I’m ravenous for protein,’ he said.

‘I have boiled eggs, brown bread with chicken sausages or smoked fish on Ryvita with horseradish. I used to eat dinner after a filming day. Not now.’

Of his exercise regimen, he shared: ‘I try to be as fit as possible, so I do a lot of exercise every day. Cardio, weights, uphill walking.

‘I am just over 12 stone, and I have less than 18 per cent fat. I’m trying to reduce that to 15 per cent.’

Gregg also admitted that he doesn’t go to dinner parties any more since he started working on the show – which is in its 16th year.

Gregg vowed to overhaul his health and fitness regime in 2017 and has stayed true to his word, keeping a public record of his body’s change.

Gregg, who used to weigh over 16 stone, was previously a Weight Watchers ambassador, and in 2017 he announced he had given up alcohol and fry ups.

Speaking on Good Morning Britain, he revealed: ‘Let’s just say there are certain things you have to cut out. I reduced the booze, I’ve had to give up fry ups and I exercise more.’

The star also no doubt keeps active by looking after his son Sid, ten months, with wife Anne-Marie, 33.

The pair had been trying to conceive for a long while, with Anne-Marie finally falling pregnant last summer shortly before the couple were due to start treatment to help them with the process.

It is Gregg’s third child; he shares Tom, 26, and Libby, 24, with his ex-wife Denise.
