Grace Gummer and Mark Ronson had plenty to celebrate on their anniversary: the 36-year-old actor and 47-year-old music producer are expecting their first child after a year of marriage, People reported on Oct. 13. The day before, the couple was photographed exchanging loving looks at a W magazine party in New York City. Not long before that, they also attended a Clooney Foundation For Justice event with Gummer’s famous mom, Meryl Streep.
Gummer and Ronson wed in August 2021 after a year of dating. Ronson recently shared photos from their anniversary vacation, writing, “When people used to tell me their spouse was their best friend, i thought they were spouting hallmark nonsense or that they were some freak anomaly of love. So now i guess i’m either someone who spouts hallmark nonsense or i’m a freak anomaly of love. Or maybe i just married the most incredible human being around. Happy Anniversary to my darlingest, you’ve made me happy beyond my wildest.”
The fairly private couple made their first public appearance together in July 2021 at a Gucci event in the Hamptons. Prior to getting together, they were both married once before: Gummer was married to musician Tay Strathairn for 42 days before their separation in 2019, and Ronson was married to actor and singer Joséphine de La Baume for five years before their split in 2017. This is the first child for both Gummer and Ronson.
Reps for both Gummer and Ronson did not immediately respond to POPSUGAR’s request for comment.
