Gigi Hadid Joined Jimmy Fallon to Discus Her Design Role with the Rebooted FAO Schwartz

Gigi Hadid made an appearance on The Tonight Show last night and took the opportunity to promote a role that she is filling for the landmark New York toy store, FAO Schwartz. After a significant reorganization, FAO Schwartz will be opening a new flagship store in the heart of Manhattan at Rockefeller Plaza for the 2018 holiday season.

Gigi — who has been increasing her own personal involvement in various fashion design projects — was apparently selected to update the designs of the uniforms for the toy seller’s iconic, living “toy soldiers,” who serve as doormen and ushers at the store. Gigi talked about her thoughts on the design project, and then revealed some of the actual uniforms on the show.

She also revealed that, when the landmark store has its reopening, there will for the first time be both male and female “toy soldiers.”

You can check out the toy soldiers’ new uniforms in the video and gallery below. Or you can go see them in person when the FAO Schwartz at 30 Rock in NYC has its Grand Opening on November 16th.
