Mel B well and truly put her foot in it when she claimed she and fellow Spice Girl Geri Halliwell had sex back in the nineties.
And while Geri is yet to speak out about it, Mirror Online understands she's none too chuffed about Mel's unexpected confession during filming for Piers Morgan's Life Stories on Friday.
Sources say Gezzer plans to deny having a roll in the hay with Mel, however, she did once admit she'd had a lesbian encounter with a famous woman.
Awkwardly for Mel, she also admitted it was enough to put her off women for life.
“I had lesbian sex once. I realised quickly I was not a lesbian," she told US DJ Howard Stern in 2003.
"I don’t mind boobs but the other bit is not my cup of tea.
“I didn’t like the lesbian thing. It is part of experimenting. I was drunk at the time.”
Geri – who is now married to Formula 1 boss Christian Horner – refused to say who it was with, but insisted, “I don’t think she was a lesbian either. I’m going to leave the rest to your imagination.”
She made no secret of her lust for Mel in an old interview with Piers, hailing Mel the sexiest Spice Girl and gushing over her sultry curves.
"She's absolutely gorgeous, even more gorgeous in real life," said Geri.
"She has great boobs… she's got an amazing bottom."
And back in 2001, Geri said she'd toyed with the idea of having a same-sex relationship, telling Attitude magazine, “I met these two girls at a party and I was fascinated with the idea of whether it was easier to understand one another when you’re both girls."
"You can fall in love with anything, it’s the sparkle in their eyes. Or it might be spiritual," she continued.
