Garth Brooks Removes Michael Ketterer From Notre Dame Show

Garth Brooks has announced that America’s Got Talent finalist Michael Ketterer will not perform at his October concert at Notre Dame Stadium in Indiana after the singer was arrested for domestic violence.

Ketterer was arrested in Hollywood on September 20 and charged with domestic violence. The police who responded to a call about a domestic fight found red marks on his wife’s body. His bail was set at $50,000.

Brooks, during his weekly Facebook Live show, Inside Studio G, told his fans that “we decided that it’s better that he not appear at Notre Dame and perform there.”

“That family, they will figure it out, and they will find it within themselves, with the good Lord above, they’ll figure it out,” he added.

Brooks had written a new song “Courage of Love” for Ketterer to sing during his run on the show. Brooks invited him to perform the song during the superstar’s much anticipated Notre Dame show, which is set for October 20.

Meanwhile, on October 20, Brooks is set to become the first musician to ever perform a music concert at the Notre Dame Stadium, which has a capacity of 80,000.
