‘Game of Thrones’ star Sophie Turner says she’s ‘experimented’ with sexuality
“Game of Thrones” star Sophie Turner and her fiancé Joe Jonas met like any other 21st century couple — on social media.
In the March cover story for Harper’s Bazaar UK, the 23-year-old actress revealed that she and Jonas had been following each other on Instagram before the rock star messaged her online.
"We had a lot of mutual friends and they’d been trying to introduce us for a long time,” she told the outlet. “We were following each other on Instagram and he direct-messaged me one fine day, out of the blue."

Turner and Jonas announced their engagement in October 2017, after they had been dating for a little more than a year.
"He’s lovely. He’s just the funniest,” Turner told Harper’s Bazaar UK. “You wouldn’t expect he’s about to turn 30 this year. He’s the most fun, energetic, positive person I’ve ever seen. I’m pessimistic, so we balance each other out."
When Turner, who also stars in “X-Men: Apocalypse,” was asked if their wedding would be this year, she reportedly replied: “Maybe.”
"We’re trying to keep it as low-key as possible so it’s more of an intimate thing," she told the outlet.

Turner, who plays Sansa Stark in the HBO hit series “Game of Thrones,” recently opened up about how she has ‘experimented’ with her sexuality before meeting Jonas.
“Everyone experiments. It's part of growing up. I love a soul, not a gender,” she told Rolling Stone.
In her Harper’s Bazaar UK interview, she also acknowledged that her co-star Kit Harington was paid more than she was — but she says the gender wage gap had nothing to do with it.
"Kit got more money than me, but he had a bigger storyline," she said.
"And for the last series, he had something crazy like 70 night shoots, and I didn’t have that many. I was like, ‘You know what … you keep that money,’" she said.
Fans can catch the eighth and final season of “Game of Thrones” on HBO on April 14.
