Fresh-faced Cheryl makes a rare appearance as she dons a cosy look during low-key dog walk in the woods with her beloved dapple dachshund

Cheryl enjoyed a low-key dog walk in Hertfordshire on Friday. 

The Fight For This Love songstress, 38, made a rare appearance as she stepped out in the woods for a stroll with her pet pooch while sporting a cosy ensemble.  

She was wrapped up against the January chill in a padded jacket paired with a beanie and ankle boots as she walked alongside her dapple dachshund.

Cheryl looked cosy in her ensemble as she walked along with the pooch while wrapped up in her comfy yet stylish ensemble. 

She covered her mouth with a protective face mask and pulled her grey beanie low on her head with her hair worn loose underneath. 

Her low-key outing comes after she revealed that she no longer pushes her body to the limits at the gym as she simply doesn’t have the time – having previously sworn by ‘extreme’ exercise method that saw her work out five times a week.  

Speaking with Women’s Health magazine, the singer, who used to work out in sweltering heat and left her feeling like she was ‘dying’.  explained that between doing the housework and caring for son Bear, four, she has had to calm down.

Cheryl – who shares Bear with ex Liam Payne – explained: ‘Exercise isn’t top of my priority list at the moment, I haven’t done anything regularly for over a year…

‘I recently bought a Peloton spin bike and I’ve used it a few times and I enjoy it, especially with the music. But when you’re a mum, the day floats away…

‘So I don’t get to use it that often. After dropping Bear off at nursery, I do my work calls and housework, and then it’s time to pick him up!’

The regime is a far more relaxed approach to exercise than her stance in 2019, in which she used to follow American fitness queen Tracy Anderson’s vigorous workout and exercise in 90 degree heat with humidity,

As well as her exercise regime shifting, Cheryl revealed her entire perspective on life had changed since becoming a mother. She explained: ‘My approach to life and the world changed when I became a mother to Bear.

‘I have a completely different perspective now that I’m responsible for another human. I care less about silly stuff and more about the important things in life, like Bear’s health and happiness.’

The hitmaker also credited meditation with ‘changing her life’, saying she makes time for daily sessions.

She explained: ‘I do it every evening and sometimes during the day for at least 20 minutes at a time while my son Bear is at nursery.

‘Calm also has an app for kids called Moshi, which I sometimes use for Bear – it tells kiddy stories, it’s cute.’
