Fans notice Mohamed Salah’s reaction to Sergio Ramos tapping him on the shoulder

Mohamed Salah and Sergio Ramos met face-to-face for the first time since the Champions League final during the European competition’s draw in Monaco.

During the final in Kiev, in May, Liverpool’s star Salah left the game during the first half with a dislocated shoulder after a clash with Ramos.

The Real Madrid skipper also blamed for giving keeper Loris Karius a concussion with a hefty barge to become a Reds enemy.

Real went on to win, with Gareth Bale’s sensational double and Karim Benzema’s strike enough to win a third European title in a row.


Fast forward almost four months and wing sensation, and usually mild-mannered, Salah still doesn’t appear to be in mood to forgive Ramos for injuring him.

Both Salah and Ramos had both been helicoptered into Monaco for the starstudded ceremony as they were both nominated for UEFA awards.

The Egyptian was, along with Luka Modric and Cristiano Ronaldo for the main Player of the Year gong, while Ramos was a hopeful for the Champions League defender of the Tournament prize.


The Spaniard won his award and it was on his return from the stage where the most awkward moment of the evening occurred as he tapped Salah on the shoulder in a friendly manner as he walked past to his seat right behind him.

Salah, who missed out on his award, simply ignored the contact and stared into the middle distance.
