Here’s what we’re expecting to see from the show moving forward.

Queer Eye will continue to cover serious ground.

Each season of Queer Eye so far has tackled difficult subjects alongside its more light-hearted moments; there have been stories of grief, depression, racism, homophobia, and toxic masculinity. The kind and empathetic way the show approaches these topics has proven deeply affecting to viewers, so we can expect more tear-jerking social commentary in the future.

We’re going to learn more about the Fab Five.

One of the main reasons the Queer Eye reboot has been so popular is the chemistry and likeability of Antoni, Bobby, Jonathan, Karamo and Tan. And just as they encourage their makeover subjects to open up, they too have shared their own stories.

In Season 3’s “Lost Boy,” Bobby spoke honestly about being homeless and living in his car, while Antoni revealed that he has previously struggled with addiction. Karamo also previously spoken about the intersectional experience of being black and gay. Outside the show, Jonathan has shared stories of grief and self-doubt on his Instagram and his podcast Getting Curious. Season 4 will undoubtedly continue to explore how the Fab Five’s own life experiences help them empathize with others.

We’ll get more group makeovers.

Season 3 saw the Fab Five take on their first duo; they helped sisters “Little” and “Shorty” expand their family business while also boosting their confidence. After this roaring success, it’s almost a sure thing that we’ll see the Fab Five turn their talents to more pairs or groups; maybe a married couple, or an entire office?

The Fab Five will go international.

If you follow any of the boys on social media then you’ll know that they’ve been on a Japanese adventure.

Netflix has already confirmed that we’ll be getting a short run of special episodes set in Japan after Season 3, but it makes sense for the Fab Five to keep this world tour going. How about an episode where Tan takes the guys to his hometown of Doncaster in the UK?

More Bubley content!

The first episode of Season 3 introduced Bruley the French bulldog as the Fab Five’s official mascot.

He already has his own Instagram—now we want a dedicated web-series. Make it happen, Netflix.
