Emmerdale’s Charley Webb parties all night with on-screen mum Emma Atkins during soap maternity leave

Emmerdale’s Charley Webb and Emma Atkins, who play Debbie and Charity Dingle on the ITV soap , enjoyed a night out together during Charley’s maternity leave from the soap.

Charley, 31, shared a gorgeous picture of herself and her co-star to her Instagram account in which they are all dolled-up for their night out.

Emma looks sensational in a silver metallic shirt while she has her blonde hair piled up in a top knot.

The actress wears a dark red lip as she snaps the cute selfie with Charley who stands behind her.

Mum-of-three Charley – who recently showed off her son Bowie's new haircut – captioned the picture: “ Danced all night”, followed by a diamond emoji.

Fans of the two soap stars went wild for the picture, as one follower wrote: “Looking beautiful ladies, hope you enjoyed your night x.”

Others wrote: “Two of my absolute favs” and: “What a lovely photo of you both.”

Charley is currently on a break from the Yorkshire-based show, but recently took a well earned night off from mum duties as she supported former co-star Kelvin Fletcher on Strictly Come Dancing.

She was seen in the crowd during an episode of the hit BBC One dance competition, cheering on ex Emmerdale actor Kelvin, 35.

Kelvin and Charley starred alongside each other on the ITV soap, with Charley's character Debbie Dingle dating Kelvin's character Andy Sugden.

Despite Kelvin leaving the show in 2016, the pair have remained pals off screen and Charley has proved her loyalty to her friend by making the trip to Elstree Studios to cheer him on from the edge of the dance floor.

Charley, who welcomed youngest son Ace in July, looked stunning as she watched Kelvin – who is partnered with Oti Mabuse – in a plunging black top.

Charley previously opened up on Kelvin's dance moves, telling OK! magazine : "He's incredible. It was really emotional watching his first show. His samba was fantastic.

"I've always known he has rhythm and he can really move his body, but I didn't know he'd be quite that good at learning a routine and performing it on live TV.

"This is the first series that I've properly followed, so it's the first time I'll be glued to Strictly from start to finish. My Saturday nights are officially over!"
