He has been teasing the drop of his new album.

And Ed Sheeran, 28, had a makeover as he styled his red locks in an Eighties mullet in a montage of Instagrams to promote his latest album out on Friday.

In the picture, the redhead actor looked dramatically different when he sported a mullet wig for his latest music video.

Famously, the redhead has always worn his locks in a cropped style with a fringe. 

The Shape Of You hitmaker pulled off the stops on his locks which he styled out in a music video for one of his new songs on his upcoming album. 

He captioned the Instagram post: ‘I’m bringing the mullet back. Friday x.’

Later, the Perfect hitmaker drizzled his Instagram account with more snaps from his upcoming music video which captured his new look.  

He teased in the caption: ‘What life could’ve been if music didn’t go to plan. Friday.’  

Ed has collaborated with the likes of Justin Bieber, Bruno Mars and Travis Scott as well as Stormzy, Cardi B and Eminem for his latest album No.6 Collaborations Project.

The Tenerife Sea hitmaker has already dropped the music video for his track Beautiful People, just hours after releasing the song. 

Recently, Ed revealed he wanted to team up with Khalid for the track because he’s got a ‘soulful voice’. 

Of the collaboration with Khalid, the star said to NME: ‘Khalid’s got an undeniable, soulful voice and I knew he would be perfect for this track.

‘I think we both connect to the song in the same way, and I’m really happy we got to work together.’
