Speaking to Good Morning Britain earlier this month, the New Rules hitmaker, who has just released her second album, said things are going well as she enjoys some rare down time with the brother of catwalk queens Gigi and Bella Hadid.

‘I’m still in the airbnb, it’s all good,’ Dua told the ITV show. ‘My boyfriend and I are used to it, we travel a lot so we can make anywhere home. I got back from Australia and when the self-isolation thing started to happen, I quickly had to find a spot.’

Elaborating on being with Anwar 24/7, the media personality insisted that ‘we’re good at doing our own things and then coming together when we want to watch a movie or do a painting and we go on our one hour daily walk’.

The songstress has been keeping in touch with friends and family around the world via Facetime, Zoom chats and phone calls, pointing out that ‘now is the time to make all those calls that you’ve been putting on the backburner. There are family members all over the world that I haven’t had a chance to call and talk to.

The busy star admitted the crisis has made her reevaluate her lifestyle, explaining: ‘We’re all learning to take a little step back. Not everything needs to be so imminent.’

‘My job is always like, where am I going, what am I doing next? It doesn’t need to be so urgent. A lot of those meetings can just be an email.’

‘Maybe this is a wake up call to really start protecting our planet. I think we’ll have more empathy for people around the world who have had to deal with oppression. This doesn’t discriminate and we’re all going through it together.’
