Drake Settles False Pregnancy Lawsuit

Drake has settled his lawsuit against a woman who falsely claimed that she was raped and impregnated by the rapper.

TMZ reported that on Friday, Drizzy filed documents in court, noting he had resolved his lawsuit against Laquana Morris, known as Layla Lace.

It has reportedly been agreed that Lace will not republish her initial claim on social media or make “statements alleging or insinuating that [Drake] assaulted her.”

A statement released by Drake’s attorney says: “The filing made by Drake against Layla Lace has been resolved, with Layla avoiding going to trial by agreeing to a stipulated judgment which prohibits her from repeating past statements she made against Drake. Drake and his team are satisfied with this outcome and while Drake appreciates the support he has received, he asks that his fans and the media allow both parties to move on with their lives.”

In a lawsuit filed in September, Drake admits that he had consensual sex with Morris at a hotel in Manchester, England, in February 2017.
