Denise’s vacation will be a welcome break after she recently took a break from Loose Women, returning last month after the death of her father Vin at the age of 84 following major surgery in September.

Taking her seat behind the desk in the ITV studio again last month, the screen star teared up as she discussed losing her dad, who was a former drag queen, and watched a special tribute to him created by show bosses.

‘Both my mum and dad, when they went, they went with family,’ explained Denise, who confessed to feeling grateful for that fact, because many families don’t get the chance.
