Denise Richards addresses rumors of her affair with Brandi Glanville during a chat with Lisa Rinna on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills this week.
Richards is seen setting the record straight in a preview clip from this week’s episode, which airs Wednesday on Bravo, as she claims Glanville started the rumors ‘for shock value,’.
The 49-year-old told co-star Rinna: ‘I’ve seen her a couple times in my life. She wanted to do a podcast and I told her I was out of town, so she asked, could she come up and interview me and the cast.’

She said when Rinna asked how long Glanville stayed in Northern California for the trip: ‘I don’t know. Actually, maybe a day. I think she stayed overnight.’
‘Have you tried calling her and saying, “What the f*** are you doing?” Rinna asked, to which Richards responded: ‘Oh God no, I’m going to handle it though another way.’
She continued: ‘It’s not cool. first of all, I do not have an open marriage and I have not cheated on my husband, okay?’

Her heart-to-heart with Rinna came after co-star Teddi Mellencamp revealed the rumors on last week’s episode.
Mellencamp recounted how Richards allegedly told Glanville she had an open relationship with husband Aaron Phypers.
But according to Glanville, the story changed after they slept together, Richards telling her to keep her mouth shut about it.
Richards also addressed other rumors Glanville started, in which she said that the Bond girl was throwing shade at her co-stars, particularly Mellencamp.

The Starship Troopers actress continued: ‘I’m gonna be super honest. Brandi said that, “I want to let you know” things that the group was saying behind my back.’
‘So, you talked to Brandi about it?’ Rinna inquired, appearing to poke a hole in her story, just as the teaser ended.
Dailymail.com reported back in January that Richards stormed away during the dramatic confrontation on the cast’s trip to Rome in November.
An insider said: ‘Since the affair was exposed, Denise has basically walked away from the show. Everyone in Beverly Hills knows about it. It was the talk of Kathy Hilton’s Christmas party.’
