Back in July, we told you that Denise Richards is joining The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills as a full housewife.
She has, and she’s already been at the center of some drama with the cast, but her personal life has also seen a big change.
On Saturday, Denise Richards married Aaron Phypers!
Speaking to Bravo’s Daily Dish, Denise Richards confirmed her marriage to Aaron.
“Yep, the rumors are true,” Denise confirms. This is my husband, Aaron, and we just got married.”
That is so exciting! Denise has not always had the best of luck in romance — remember, she was once married to Charlie Sheen.
This romance (and now marriage) with Aaron is a huge step up.
“I am so happy to officially be married to the love of my life,” Denise declares.
Denise has frequently gushed about Aaron on Instagram, from taking photos of his nearly nude sleeping form (with permission, we hope) to pics of the two side-by-side.
She also plugged her new role on Bravo, of course.
Ever the dutiful Housewife, Denise says: “I can’t wait for everyone to go on this incredible journey with me this season on ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.”
Her timing — a wedding so soon into her Real Housewives career — could not be better.
Denise gushes about her foray into the reality franchise: “It has been a wild ride so far!”
Denise had a subtler message about her wedding on Instagram, allowing her fans and followers to connect the dots.
In the captions of an image of two rings touching within a heart inscribed upon the beach, Denise wrote an understated caption.
“So this happened,” she writes.
In case anyone had missed the significance or simply wondered about the date, she included: “9-8-18”
That was a very tasteful way of letting people know about the good news.
Designer Mark Zunino shared a photo of him with Denise as she modeled her wedding dress.
“24 hours to make a wedding dress?” he wrote in the captions. “NO PROBLEM!!”
“Congratulations to Denise Richards and Aaron Phypers!” he added.
He expressed his gratitude: “Thank you for letting us be a part of your special day!”
Just because a wedding was a small or private affair doesn’t mean that designers can’t get their due publicity.
We are so interested in learning the story of why Denise apparently needed her dress done in just 24 hours.
We wonder if viewers will understand the context for that when they watch this upcoming season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
Denise Richards is already at the center of drama for the show, which is exactly what producers had hoped to see.
It doesn’t sound like stars are going to be nice to her on account of her preexisting celebrity status.
Of course, that won’t be a surprise for Denise and we’re sure that she won’t take it personally.
After all, she is a huge fan of the show and hte franchise. This is a great deal for everyone.
