Dave Grohl, Cheap Trick, Marilyn Manson To Play Art Of Elysium’s Heaven Gala

Dave Grohl, Cheap Trick and Marilyn Manson are set to perform at Art of Elysium’s 13th annual Heaven gala on January 4 at Los Angeles’ Hollywood Palladium.

Linda Perry & Kerry Brown‘s company We Are Hear, which has been chosen as the Visionary for its creative contributions, will curate the evening.

The pair are reportedly working with artist Kii Arens to conceive their vision of Heaven, defined as “rock & roll, a unique rock collaboration of unified voices coming together for the greater good.”

John Legend, Stevie Wonder, Shepard Fairey and Perry were some of the Visionaries to curate the event in the past.

“Heaven 2020, the year of perfect vision, is upon us. It is with such great pleasure that we get to work with one of our past visionaries Linda Perry and We Are Hear,” said Jennifer Howell, who founded The Art of Elysium in 1997.

She added, “What Linda and Kerry Brown have created is truly special and it is the first time that we have gotten artists to collaborate on building Heaven.”

The non-profit artist organization fosters the belief that art can be a catalyst for social change. Proceeds from the gala are utilized to support the organization’s programs and services.

Ashley and Topher Grace, who met at a previous Heaven gala, will be honored with the 2020 Spirit of Elysium award.

Past recipients include Amber Heard, David Arquette, Elijah Wood, James Franco, Kirsten Dunst and Eva Mendes.
