According to The Sun on Sunday, the woman is the Eastenders actor’s friend of 20 years, Nikki Lee, 32.
A source told publication: ‘Danny and Nikki spent a lot of time together around the time he married Jo. They were in touch in the build-up. Danny shared some of his deepest and most private thoughts.’

Another added to the outlet: ‘Nikki has been there for him through good times and bad. He’s really appreciated her supporting him through all of his ups and downs.’
Nikki’s friend also confirmed to the publication she was ‘close’ to Dyer but refused to say more.
Last week it was revealed that the actor told Nikki he was ‘feeling nawty’ and begged her to send him ‘some filth’- just weeks before his wedding to wife Joanne, according to The Sun.
In a mirror selfie that the star sent to the former topless model, obtained by the publication, Danny could be seen posing shirtless in just his white Calvin Klein briefs in a hotel room.

The Sun also reported that Danny appeared to have also sent a video to the Nikki, who has appeared as an extra on Eastenders, of himself performing a solo sex act.
The publication also stated the actor sent a message: ‘Send me some filth?? 😉 x’ to which the woman is said to have replied: ‘I’m walking the pooch treacle… What filth you after? x’
A source told The Sun: ‘Danny was in a very playful mood, he sent some texts to a woman and then did a selfie in his pants which he also sent to her, he had a look on his face which was making it clear he was having fun.
‘I’m sure Jo wouldn’t have been happy if she’d known what he was doing, particularly so close to their wedding day, it wasn’t the wild stag do he had imagined so he must have got bored.’

There is no suggestion Danny ever had a physical relationship with the woman.

Danny and Joanne, 42, met when they were just 14 years old and finally tied the knot in 2016 after an on-off romance which has been marred by Danny’s infidelities.
Speaking candidly to The Sunday Times Magazine recently, Danny talked about his relationship with Joanne.
Danny explained: ‘I can’t remember a time when I wasn’t a dad. Me and Joanne had Dani when I was 18 and . . . f***ing hell, we were kids!’
The pair went on to split when Dani was only three years old and started seeing other people.
However, it wasn’t long before the actor found himself back in the arms of Joanne, admitting that he did ‘everything in his power’ to spend more time with her and Dani.
Danny explained: ‘I don’t know if Joanne saw how much I missed ’em, but the visits started getting longer and we’d sit down with a cup of tea.
‘Next minute… we’re having an affair. I said: ‘F*** this! We’re sneaking around like schoolkids. We’ve got a beautiful girl. Let’s give it a go”.’
Last year, the pair’s romance fell on hard times again following reports of his ‘unfaithful behaviour’.
The pair were reported to have split in early 2017 – following reports the actor had a six-week affair with former Girls Aloud star Sarah Harding, while filming 2012 flick Run for Your Wife.
It was reported that Harding thought that Dyer was single at the time.
