Love Island’s Dani Dyer is finding out first hand how difficult it is to live with a partner – especially when she’s known him for less than six months.
The reality show winner moved in with boyfriend Jack Fincham just weeks after they scooped the £50,000 cash prize, and it seems there’s already one major source of tension: his behaviour in the bedroom.
Taking to Twitter just after midnight last night, Dani moaned that her lover was already unconscious and taking up too much space.
Hinting she was thinking about heading back to her family home, she tweeted: "2 mins away from my home with him laying right there…. snoring and taking up all the bed."
Her followers sympathised, with one telling her: "Welcome to married life babe. Just nudge him occasionally make sure he’s still alive. 25 years of practice."
Another advised her: "Ear plugs Dani, they’re a relationship saver."
And a third quipped: "Oh dear I know the feeling dani put him in the spare room ..job done and a peaceful nights sleep lol."
It’s not the first time Dani has hinted at strain in their five-month relationship.
Back in September – a month after they’d moved in to their own Essex pad – Dani told OK! magazine that they sometimes argue.
"Jack and I are only human and we’re not going to always agree on everything, but we love each other very much and always respect and support each other through everything," she admitted.
"We really knew that’s what we wanted to do, and I honestly think it’s the best decision we made."
She thanked her mum, Joanne Mas, for showing her what it’s like to live with a man – her dad, Danny Dyer.
"I’m so happy. I thought moving out would be tough, but clearly mum has taught me a lot about living with a man," Dani joked.
She and Jack were struck by fresh reports of their arguing just this week, when a source close to the couple noticed strain between them.
"They’ve been at each other’s necks for a few weeks now," said the mole, who claimed they’re only staying together for the sake of their upcoming reality show.
"Dani has been offered so many opportunities since leaving the villa, from her hugely successful clothing range with In The Style to appearances with her dad.
"But the more projects Dani takes on the less time she spends with Jack, so tensions between them are mounting."
However, a spokeswoman for the couple told Mirror Online that they don’t pay much attention to the "gossip".
"We’re just really happy at the moment and are enjoying spending so much time together filming our new show," they added.
