Brianne and Kevin recently revealed they moved in together just a day after they met.

The couple made the surprise revelation on Friday’s Loose Women in their first TV interview since they announced their engagement after just two months of dating, with ex-footballer Kevin adding he’d been planning his lavish proposal for weeks.

It comes after Brianne’s fellow skating pro Matt Evers revealed that Kevin has already been called dad by her daughter Grace, a mere three months after the couple first met.

Speaking about the speedy progression of their romance, Brianne explained and that she and Kevin moved in together because it would easier for their days of training.

She told the panel: ‘A lot of people don’t know this but it was literally the first day. I was actually staying with Kieron Richardson, my very first partner on Dancing on Ice 10 years ago, and we had to train that day and we started talking and Kevin was like, ”It’ll be easier if you stay with me.”

Kevin added: ‘When you know, you know… I feel like I’ve known Bri all my life,’ while Brianne said: ‘I’ve been on my own for four years. I’m a single mum, I wasn’t looking for love.’

Brianne and Kevin also spoke about the moment they both realised they were going to marry, with the skater saying: ‘I was coming through the tunnel at the stadium and it was a weird moment because I hadn’t met him and in my head, I had these little voices going, ”I’m going to marry this guy. I’m going to marry him.’

Nadia Sawalha asked Brianne whether Kevin’s tall and dark features were a factor behind her decision to marry Kevin.

She said: ‘The fact he was tall was probably not the best for skating, but yeah…’ while Kevin added: ‘Bri would have been at work mode at that point!’

When asked whether he was on lookout for love when he signed up for Dancing On Ice, Kevin added: ‘Genuinely no, I wasn’t thinking about that. The last few years I’ve just been concentrating on work and that’s how it’s been with me.’

‘I’ve been on my own for four years. I’m a single mum, I wasn’t looking for love,’ Brianne added.

Discussing their idyllic proposal, Brianne admitted it ‘still hasn’t sunk in,’ after beau Kevin serenaded her over dinner before getting down on one knee.

Kevin added that he had been planning to proposal ‘for weeks.’

The couple, who first met in October when they were partnered on Dancing On Ice, revealed the engagement on Instagram, sharing a video of the big moment.

Brianne wrote on Instagram: ‘He couldn’t have been more perfect I love you @kdkilbane77 . 02.04.2020 [ring emoji]’.

She also shared a clip of the moment Kevin got down on one knee, which was greeted by plenty of applause and cheering.

In the clip, Kevin could be seen singing The Dubliners, Grace, an usual choice of song as it depicts the love story between Joseph Plunket and Grace Gifford who married hours before Joseph was executed for his part in the 1916 rising in Dublin Grace.

A waiter then brought over a cake and a sparkling ring -worth an estimated £53,000 – to the table, as a shocked Brianne accepted his proposal.

Taking to Instagram after the event, Brianne showed off her incredible ring as she gushed: ‘He was worth the wait. Kev, you’ve made me the happiest girl in the world. You’re my fairytale ending.’

The engagement topped off a celebratory weekend for the pair, who had enjoyed a romantic getaway in honour of their birthdays last weekend.

The pair first met when they were partnered up on the skating show in October, and were revealed to have started dating in December.

Despite being voted off by the judges, the lovers admitted they had gained the ultimate prize – each other.

Kevin said: ‘I didn’t need to come on the show, it’s been an incredible run. ‘

Asked if they will continue skating together, he replied: ‘Absolutely, Definitely. It’s fixed my posture in many ways.

Meanwhile, Brianne gushed that it had been a ‘life-changing’ experience meeting her partner on the show.

The couple recently admitted that they have no plans for their relationship to be long-distance, despite Brianne living in Canada and Kevin residing in Ireland.

The professional skater raises daughter Gracie, three, with an unnamed ex.

Meanwhile, Kevin has two daughters, 16-year-old Elsie and 14-year-old Isla, with his ex-wife Laura, who he split from in 2011 after 12 years of marriage.

The pair tied the knot when Kevin was just 22 and he has blamed the split on the couple being ‘naive’ about settling down at such a young age.

DATING ON ICE: BRIANNE’S RELATIONSHIP HISTORY

Canadian pair skater Brianna Delcourt has hit the headlines with her past relationships, having romanced four celebrity contestants on Dancing On Ice

2010 –  Danny Young

Brianne made her show debut during series five with Hollyoaks star Kieron Richardson, with the pair finishing in third place.

Despite not winning, the blonde bombshell bagged herself a man, striking up a romance with Coronation Street actor Danny Young, who was partnered with skater Frankie Poultney.

The couple started dating shortly after the series finished and moved in together later that year.

The pair split within a few months and despite rekindling their romance in 2011, it wasn’t meant to be, as Brianne then met her next boyfriend, Sam Attwater.

2011 – Sam Attwater

During her second season on the show, Brianne was partnered with EastEnders star Sam Attwater, with the couple going on to win the series.

They didn’t just take home the trophy, however, with Brianne and Sam striking up a romance during their time on the ice.

However, many fans questioned the legitimacy of their relationship after Sam was pictured kissing Alexandra Schauman, 30, another professional skater.

The couple continued to date, but after the show ended, they didn’t pursue a relationship

2013 – Matt Lapinskas

Brianne was partnered with EastEnders actor Matt Lapinskas in 2013, who at the time was dating his co-star Shona McGarty.

Matt and Shona had been dating for 18 months and split during his time on Dancing On Ice, he then began dating Brianne.

The actor denied that he had been unfaithful to Shona and insisted he didn’t strike up a romance with Brianne until he was single.

However, after they split the following year, Brianne went on to tell The Sun On Sunday: ‘He pursed me behind Shona’s back. Lots of people warned me but I didn’t listen.’

Brianne also claimed that Matt had cheated on her with his new co-star, Camilla Rowland.

She revealed: ‘Matt has totally betrayed me. He’s been nasty and he’s life, when all I’ve done for the last two years is try to help and protect him’.

Tense end: Brianne claimed that Matt began seeing her when he was still dating Shona McGarty, then claimed he cheated on her with his new co-star, Camilla Rowland
