Coronation Street star Sam Aston and wife Briony Gardner’s amazing yoga-inspired first dance at their wedding revealed

Coronation Street star Sam Aston and wife Briony Gardner have given OK! an exclusive look at their first dance from their recent nuptials.

The couple tied the knot in front of their family and friends at the start of the month, as well as sharing their special day with OK! magazine; which will feature all the photos from the big day in next week's edition.

Sam and Briony's first dance was a showstopper, featuring a number of very impressive yoga and acrobatic moves to John Legend's Stay With You.

The gorgeous pair had learnt the yoga-inspired routine months before their big day, making sure it was perfect for when they performed it for their loved ones.

And it's no doubt Briony had a large role to play in the idea, given her background in yoga teaching.

Slipping out of their wedding attire for the occasion, the duo were dressed appropriately for the routine in clothes that allowed a lot of movement.

The 25 year old actor, who plays Chesney Brown on the ITV soap, confirmed he was engaged to Briony back in June 2017.

The popular actor proposed to his partner of five years at a charity golf day he runs with some Corrie co-stars. After taking to the stage for a Mr and Mrs style game, Sam announced he had his own question to ask before proposing.

Speaking exclusively to OK! magazine at the time, he said: "The crowd starting cheering, although Briony didn’t actually say yes.

"She was so shocked she covered her mouth and started to cry, so I took that as a yes and put the ring on her finger."

Briony added: "It was [such a blur]. Everyone was cheering and screaming and I was smiling and couldn’t stop crying. Sam had tears in his eyes too.

"I would have never have imagined he’d do it in such a public place, so it was a complete surprise."
