Coleen Rooney adjusts to her new life in America with busy day of pampering

Coleen Rooney appears to be settling right into her new home in Washington DC.

The mum-of-four was spotted busying herself with a day of pampering in the capital as she enjoyed some alone time without her kids.

Coleen, 32, moved to the US last month after her football star husband Wayne, 32, made a £300,000-a-week transfer to DC United.

The couple and their sons Kai, eight, Klay, five, Kit, two, and Cass, seven months, are living in a plush suburb and have enrolled their two older boys in schools.

While Coleen previously spoke of her initial nerves about the relocation, she looked right at home as she filled her day with errands.

First she was spotted hitting up the trendy Equinox Gym, where she spent over an hour working out in a Pilates class.

She later emerged with her hair wrapped tightly in a bun to continue her day with a cup of fresh green juice.

With her little ones settling in to their new schools, Coleen was next spotted in a toy store browsing the aisle for treats.

Though her four boys weren’t far from her mind as she showed off a quirky pink phone case engraved with each of their names.

Coleen made time for a little self-maintenance as she headed to the salon to get a wash and blow-dry.

An onlooker said: “Coleen looks to be loving life in the States.

"Back at home she gets recognised everywhere, but here she goes about her business without being stopped. It’s like she has a normal life back.”

The family have signed up to stay in the States for two years – but the Mirror revealed in August that Coleen and the boys will go home back to the UK after that.

Earlier in the month, proud mum Coleen shared a snap of her eldest boys in their uniforms ahead of their first day at school in America.

Coleen said she was sad for her eldest boys to leave their ‘fantastic’ school near their previous home in Cheshire.

“That was the one thing I was gutted about – having to take him out of school, as we love it. That’s the hardest thing.

"Obviously, we can try and get him back into it when we eventually come back to England,” she previously said.

A source close to the couple revealed Coleen and Wayne had moved their family, including youngest son Cass, into a seven bedroom mansion in an exclusive suburb of the city.
