But the Australian singer, 22, appeared far from heartbroken while strolling New York City’s SoHo on Monday.
The Golden Thing hit-maker flipped the bird during his outing amid ongoing speculation he’s separated from Miley, 27, after just two months of dating.

Cody went on a light shopping expedition with a friend, before reading a book on Bob Dylan in Washington Square Park.

His colourful display comes after two alleged sighting with separate women in New York in the past week.
Cody was first spotted with Playboy model pal Jordy Murray on Saturday, and according to Page Six was ‘partying at Little Sister Lounge’ in New York City over the weekend, where he ‘kissed a girl on the mouth’.
On Tuesday, Cody’s management told Daily Mail Australia: ‘Cody’s agent confirms there is absolutely no truth to this story. Cody went out with a friend and all the rest is fabricated. Period.’
Cody’s singer sister Alli even confirmed to Daily Mail Australia on Monday that Cody and Miley were still together, adding Cody’s outing with model Jordy was entirely innocent.
‘She [Jordy] is his best friend, Ryan Mcarthy’s girlfriend of a few years. He’s visiting him for a couple days,’ she explained.

The rumours come amid the once-inseparable couples’ absence from the limelight over the past two weeks.
Cody and Miley haven’t been spotted together since volunteering at a youth homeless shelter in Los Angeles earlier this month. The pair haven’t posted about each other on Instagram or commented on each other’s posts, however they still follow each other on the social media platform.
However, Alli said fans has nothing to worry about with the loved-up couple: ‘yes [they’re] together for sure.’
