Christine’s outing comes after her husband Paddy recently revealed he had undergone a vasectomy.

Taking to Instagram, the presenter talked about his thoughts on the procedure, while his wife Christine gushed: ‘my brave soldier’.

He told his fans: ‘Day one post vasectomy and it’s all good. My doctor said get loads of rest and that’s exactly what I’ve done.

‘If you’re discussing getting a vasectomy with your wife or maybe your wife being sterilised, trust me, chose the vasectomy.

‘If your wife gets sterilised its major surgery for the lady. Health complications aside your lady could be out of action for a month.

‘Now, lads that’s a month of you doing everything around the house, every school pick up and everything single thing with the kids.

‘Think about it lads, that’s proper agony. Don’t get me wrong my lady is out now but, when she gets back I’m laying it on thick.

Acting what he is like, he said: ‘Is that you sweetheart? Can I have a cup of tea please for my poorly knackers? In fact, I’ve just realised she may be watching this.’

A vasectomy, or male sterilisation, is a procedure to cut the tubes that carry a man’s sperm to permanently prevent pregnancy without further contraception.

It can usually be done under local anaesthetic and takes about 15 minutes.

Paddy’s operation comes after he has been reunited with his wife Christine after various stints of working away while filming.

While she was thrilled to be back with him, she recently explained that no one questions him for not being around for their children – even though he’d only been home five times in 30 days due to his work commitments.

Taking to her widely-followed Instagram account, the bombshell hit back at sexist trolls after having had enough of reading some of the comments which were being thrown at her, suggesting she was abandoning her children to workout.

She noted that she had left the house for a 45 minute gym session and the children had been at school.

Christine added that while her husband Paddy works hard, no one ever questions how little he is home with the family.

The star wrote: ‘My husband has been home five times in the last 30 days, he is a busy, hard working man, but no one ever asks him who is looking after his children… (me of course).

‘I go the gym for 45 minutes whilst they’re at school and get questioned on who is looking after my children! God bless equality.’
