Chrissy Teigen torn about getting another boob job as she fears DYING

Chrissy Teigen reveals she’s torn about getting another boob job as she fears DYING on the operating table… after motherhood left her implants ‘deflated’

Chrissy Teigen has revealed she’s conflicted about going under the knife for further breast augmentation surgery after motherhood left her implants ‘deflated’.

The 34-year-old model – who has two young children with singer John Legend, 41 – has admitted to Glamour magazine that she’s eager to have her current implants removed and breasts lifted, 14 years after having an augmentation to aid her career.

She told the publication: ‘I did my boobs when I was about 20 years old. It was more for a swimsuit thing. I thought, if I’m going to be posing, laid on my back, I want them to be perky! But then you have babies and they fill up with milk and deflate and now I am screwed.’

Asked if she underwent her initial operation to boost her self esteem, the star responded: ‘Honestly, I kept them the same cup size. I just filled them out, so they are rounder and firmer.

‘I had a quarter ‘teardrop’ cup in the bottom and filled out the breast line. But I want them out now. If I could do one thing, it would be to have a lift. I think you’re supposed to replace [implants] every ten years.

‘But when you have kids you think about [the risks] of surgery and I think, “This is not the way I want to die, in boob surgery.”‘

Surgery: In the accompanying interview, the star revealed she’s conflicted about going under the knife for further breast augmentation surgery after motherhood left her implants ‘deflated’

Chrissy, who rose to fame as a Swimsuit Illustrated model, also spoke candidly about body confidence, admitting that she used to weigh herself three times a day.

She told Glamour: ‘I used to weigh myself every morning, afternoon and night. I knew what the scales would say after each meal.

‘I did that for eight years and had this one weight I wanted to be at. That changed with Luna, and really changed with Miles [her son, two], where it took me a year to be comfortable with my new normal number.’

The TV personality and author also opened up about her mental health and battles with postpartum depression, admitting: ‘The last month has been really tough. I’ll tell John, “Deep down, I know I am happy.”

Proud mother: The star, who has been married to musician John Legend since 2013, is the mother of daughter Luna, who turns four next month, and son Miles, who turns two in May

‘But I think anyone with anxiety knows it’s physically painful to think about doing things. Sometimes reaching for your medication is like picking up a 60kg dumbbell that I don’t feel like picking up and I don’t know why.

‘But I also know I haven’t been good to myself. I wasn’t managing my pills. I was just taking them when I remembered. My chemistry got thrown off.

‘So I’m building myself back up. There are times I go to bed at 6.30pm and wake up at 6am and lie in bed just thinking – it’s like you can’t get enough sleep.’

Love and marriage: The Utah-born model and her musician husband John Legend often share snippets of their family life on their respective social media accounts

And Chrissy has revealed that she and her husband are ensuring that open communication is an integral part of how they parent their offspring.

‘We’re going to talk to her in the same way we would have loved to hear it,’ she explained. ‘We don’t really censor ourselves in talking about bodies. We don’t have that taboo that goes along with saying the word “penis” or “vagina”, it’s silly.

‘And you make sure your boy is the ultimate feminist, that he loves and respects women. You have to raise them to be feminists. That is our future.’

Away from parenting, Chrissy revealed that she and John have been spending some of their downtime as a couple watching UK reality TV – specifically Love Island.

Shouting to her husband in the kitchen mid-interview, Chrissy enquired: ‘John, what didn’t we understand about Love Island the other day? There was one thing that wasn’t in the Love Island dictionary I created on my phone.’

After joining his wife, John confirmed the colloquialisms they found baffling as he said: ‘There are so many things. Like “mugging off” and “pied”!’

Utah native Chrissy appears as the cover model for Glamour’s Spring/Summer issue and models a range of breathtaking looks, including black hot pants with a striped top and a wide-brimmed hat.
