Chrissy Metz rocks sequined royal purple gown with elaborate fur trim at Gay Men’s Chorus anniversary gala

And Chrissy Metz, an actress on NBC’s This Is Us, was glamorous as ever at the Gay Men’s Chorus Of Los Angeles anniversary gala on Friday.

The 38-year-old posed up a storm on the red carpet at the iconic Walt Disney Concert Hall, where the swank event was held.

She modeled a flowing royal purple sequined gown that featured faux fur trim along the sleeves and around the hemline.

Chrissy played up her screen siren looks with makeup and wore her luxurious wavy brown hair down for her night out.

She got in a bit of mingling there with none other than songwriter Diane Warren, who modeled an off-white blazer with a turned-up collar.

Chrissy posed with Gay Men’s Chorus Of Los Angeles executive producer Steve Holzer, Broadway actress Shoshana Bean and Lou Spito.

Shoshana, who has played the lead role of Elphaba in Wicked on Broadway, swung by the event in a sequined salmon-colored pantsuit.

The Gay Men’s Chorus Of Los Angeles began 40 years ago, and Friday’s 40th anniversary gala is to include a concert with Chrissy and Shoshana as guest-stars.

A further 24 singing groups including the New York City Gay Men’s Chorus will be hitting the stage at the Walt Disney Concert Hall on Friday. 

As noted on the website, the 40th anniversary year of this organization is also the half-centenary of the Stonewall Uprising for LGBT rights.

Chrissy has been starring on This Is Us since its first season in 2016, amid a cast that includes Mandy Moore, Sterling K. Brown, Milo Ventimiglia and Justin Hartley.
