Construction has kicked off on a stunning 35-hectare $4.25million property owned by Chris and Liam Hemsworth.

Aerial photos taken of the property, located in Broken Head – a coastal suburb in the Northern Rivers region of Byron Bay in NSW – show a cabana has been completed near the lake.

The Hemsworth family lodged an application in 2020 to construct a cabana, with an estimated cost of $138,000., a year after they purchased the home.

Expanding: Chris and Liam Hemsworth have been transforming their $4.25million New South Wales property into an entertaining oasis – complete with lush landscaping, a fire pit, deck and an intimate $138,000 cabana

Dozens of palm trees have been planted alongside the lake, while an island has been constructed in the middle of the water.

A fire pit and seating area has also been built and is a perfect area for the Hollywood stars to entertain their friends.

Chris, 37, and his brother Liam, 31, purchased the property in 2019, just months after Liam split from his wife Miley Cyrus, 28. The actor relocated to Australia after previously living in Malibu with Miley.

The property is a short distance from where older brother Chris, 37, and his wife Elsa Pataky, 44, live in their newly renovated ‘mega-mansion’, which is worth approximately $20million.

Large stables surrounded by fenced-off riding tracks have been built on the land, most likely for Chris’ wife, Elsa, who is an avid horse rider.

A horse riding arena complete with jumping fences has also been erected nearby.

According to The Daily Telegraph, there are just two other homes and a forested area separating the brothers’ estates.

The latest addition to the family’s property portfolio sits in a rugged area surrounded by lush trees.

The scarcely populated area is surrounded by bushland and open plains, including a lake. On the edge of the land is a man-made lake, in which there appears to be a large floatie or trampoline.

Chris relocated to Australia with his family in 2014, after several years living in LA.
