Cardi B shows off the latest addition to her giant colourful back tattoo as she gets ‘painful’ inking updated during lockdown after posing in her bikini

She has been getting her back tattooed in stages over the last few months. 

And Cardi B, 27, showed off the latest addition to the artwork on Instagram Stories on Sunday as she got more of her tattooed inked in lockdown. 

Showing off the elaborate work, the needle could be seen in shot which was filling in the green areas.

Cardi B acknowledged it was not the most comfortable experience as she wrote: ‘I be taking pain like a motherf***er.’ 

The artwork consists of flowers, butterflies and a Versace inspired gold trim and before that, she had shown off the rest of her tattoos in a bikini snap.

Last month, Cardi shared a snap of her peachy bottom on Instagram, along with a cute video of her daughter Kulture, one, putting on a fashion show while they quarantine together amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Cardi highlighted her tattoo with a picture of herself crouched down from behind while wearing a lime green Fashion Nova bikini with gold chain straps on the bottom that left little to the imagination.

She added some green and blue platform Louboutins for some extra flair and wore a striking royal blue and green wig while carrying a matching blue handbag.

Cardi stuck her tongue out and cast a sultry gaze toward the camera. 

‘Givin you the blues,’ she captioned the steamy snap.

Earlier in the day, the Bodak Yellow rapper posted a short video that followed her tattoo all the way from her shoulder down to her mid-thigh.

The colorful ink featured a lush array of photorealistic flowers, along with some elegant monarch butterflies and a hummingbird.

Later in the evening, she shared a post from her tattoo artist, Jamie Schene, revealing that the whole array took more than 60 hours to ink spread out over multiple months and ‘more than 10 cities.’

‘It was an awesome project and a crazy experience. Thanks for the dedication, strength, and hospitality. Lara and I appreciate you and your family,’ he wrote.

‘@jamie_schene ready for the other tatt?’ Cardi wrote over the post, along with some distressed emojis.
