Cardi B found another way to needle Nicki Minaj — by hanging out with her rival’s ex Meek Mill.
The two were photographed together at the Billboard 2018 R&B/Hip-Hop Power Players event at Legacy Records in Manhattan on Thursday night. Rapper Marlo and Quality Control Records co-founder Pierre “Pee” Thomas are also pictured.
Neither Cardi, dressed in an eye-catching lime green ensemble, nor Meek, rocking a yellow leather jacket, looked completely at ease in the picture.
The event wasn’t just a chance for Meek to annoy his ex, though. He was also honored with the magazine’s first ever R&B/Hip-Hop Power Players Impact Award, for both his criminal justice reform activism and his continued creative output.
As for Cardi, the photo comes just three weeks after she and Minaj got into a brawl at the Harper’s Bazaar Icons party during New York Fashion Week, the culmination of more than a year of going after one another in the press and on social media.
