Camila Cabello is ‘all good’ with Fifth Harmony

Camila Cabello and the girls of Fifth Harmony are moving on from any drama left over from her exit in 2016.

“I think that we’re all good now,” the now solo singer, 21, said in an interview with Marie Claire published on Wednesday.

The singer, who has gone on to release her own album, swept multiple music awards shows with her hit single “Havana,” says her recent reunion with former bandmate Normani Kordei at May’s Billboard Music Awards sealed the deal that the feud is behind them.

“I saw Normani at the Billboard Awards, and we kind of mutually came up to each other,” Cabello recalled. “I told her, ‘I just want you to know, I really hope we can all move on from everything, and I’m genuinely happy for the other girls, and I hope you tell them I wish you the best.’ And she was like, ‘I’m so proud of you.’ It felt like everything is totally fine.”

Kordei also performed at the award show and the two bonded over on-stage nerves.

“I was like, ‘By next year you’ll be totally fine,’” she told Kordei. “You’re killing it. I’m so happy for you. I’m so excited to see what you do with your music.’”

The conversation came months after Fifth Harmony referenced Cabello’s exit during the previous year’s MTV Video Music Awards when a stuntwoman – appearing to be the fifth member of the group – was thrown backward off the stage.

The singer, who joined Taylor Swift for a leg of her stadium tour, also finally opened up about her romance with British dating guru Matthew Hussey.

“In person, we’re just weird and silly and stupid together,” she said. “He makes me the happiest I’ve ever been in my life.”
