Cameron Diaz exudes effortless glamour as she steps out in a semi-sheer top and skinny jeans for lunch date with pals

She’s maintained a relatively low profile since retiring from acting back in 2016, following a successful 26-year career in Hollywood.

But Cameron Diaz, 47, showed she’s retained the effortless glamour of a movie star over the weekend, when she stepped out for a sushi lunch with pals in Beverly Hills.

The Charlie’s Angels star caught the eye as she made her way to hotspot Matsuhisa wearing a semi-sheer black top, which she teamed with high-waisted faded jeans.

Standing tall in olive green suede heels, the star smartened up her look with the addition of a black blazer, while she hid her eyes behind a pair of angular shades.

Wearing her flaxen locks in a sleek updo, she highlighted her famous good looks with alight palette of makeup, while she accessorised with hoop earrings.

Cameron recently opened up about their marriage in a rare interview, calling husband Benji Madden, 40, ‘the greatest human being’.

The star told InStyle magazine: ‘I just want to build better, stronger friendships with the people who are in it with me. Of course, that includes my husband.

‘Getting married to him was the best thing that ever happened to me. My husband’s the best. He’s the greatest human being, and he’s my great partner. Marriage is certainly hard, and it’s a lot of work.

‘You need somebody who’s willing to do the work with you, because there’s no 60-40 in marriage. It’s 50-50 period. All the time.’

The couple tied the knot in January 2015 following an eight-month romance, four years after splitting from ex-baseball player Alex Rodriguez.

And the Bad Teacher actress admitted she wasn’t sure if she was ‘ready’ for marriage when they got hitched, but always knew Benji was ‘special’.

She added: ‘I don’t know if I was ready [when I got married], but I knew Benji was special. He’s just a good man. There’s no bulls***. It’s really refreshing. I’m grateful for him.’
