Bryce Dallas Howard the bridesmaid glows with happiness at sister Paige Carlyle’s wedding… while proud dad Ron Howard serves as officiant

Bryce Dallas Howard glowed with happiness at her sister Paige Carlyle Howard’s recent wedding to dashing artist Tim Abu-Nasr.

After the festivities were over, Bryce, 41, posted a heartwarming album to Instagram and dished about the ceremony in her caption.

She posted a radiant snap of herself with the bride and their filmmaker father Ron Howard, who performed the wedding.

Bryce included a video of Ron at the altar, seemingly paying tribute to his own father, Cool Hand Luke actor Rance Howard.

Ron looked back on ‘his homespun Midwestern advice that he’d often offer up at key moments of challenge and opportunity,’ and then put on ‘his favorite hat.’

Putting his arms on the bride and groom’s shoulders, he could not contain his joy as he told ‘you two wonderful kids – you know exactly where to kick it. Kick it in the a**!’

Ron then declared: ‘By the power vested in me by the State Of New York I pronounce you married. You may now kiss the bride.’

Newlyweds: Paige has married the dashing artist Tim Abu-Nasr of whom Bryce gushed on Instagram: ‘Tim, I am filled with gratitude and joy to call you my brother!!⁣’

The wedding party erupted in applause as Paige and Tim made their way around the altar to each other and shared their first kiss as husband and wife.

in her caption Bryce shared her congratulations to ‘the newlywed couple’ and suggested that the big day had been delayed by the coronavirus pandemic.

‘Although it took a whole pandemic to reach this special moment, I can’t imagine a more perfect day celebrating you two,’ Bryce noted before gushing: ‘Tim, I am filled with gratitude and joy to call you my brother!!⁣’

The Hera Couture bridal gown ‘was a dream come true,’ Bryce wrote, spilling that ‘when Paige walked down the aisle, we literally gasped.’

She concluded: ‘And last but not least, let’s give a round of applause for our incredible officiant @realronhoward. What a truly magical day.’ 

Bryce has been married to her own husband Seth Gabel since 2006 and they are the proud parents of two children – Theodore, 15, and Beatrice, 10. 

Ron himself has been married to his wife Cheryl Howard, the mother of the bride, since 1975 when he was known as an actor rather than the star director he has since become.
