Britney Spears only went out TWICE during 4-year Vegas residency

Britney Spears admits she only went out TWICE during her four year-long Las Vegas residency… as she shows off new white dress to fans on Instagram

Britney Spears posted yet another lengthy caption to her fans on Monday, writing about her thoughts on life while also showing off a new white dress in a minute-long video.

In the caption for the post, Spears, 39, claimed that she only went out twice during her four-year-long residency in Las Vegas, where she performed with her father Jamie Spears still in full control as her conservator.

‘I was thinking about when I did shows in Vegas,’ the Toxic singer wrote, in part. ‘The four years I was there I went out only two times !!!! Unfortunately I’m not lying.’

Confession: Britney Spears says she only went out TWICE during her four-year-long Las Vegas residency… as she shows off figure in new white dress on Instagram, Monday

The singer’s concert residency, Britney: Piece of Me, opened in December 2013 at the Planet Hollywood resort in Las Vegas, Nevada, and finished in December 2017, after grossing close to $138million.

During that time, Spears remained under her 13-year-long conservatorship, with father Jamie in control, though he recently stepped down amid her ongoing legal battle to find freedom.

Spears introduced the post as ‘a minute of me in my new white dress’ and went on to ponder what her ‘version of success is.’

White dress: The singer was happy to share her new purchase

She wrote: ‘To me it’s knowing I’ve used my heart over my head and it’s hard sometimes because of ego … but sometimes ego is protection !!!!.’

Adding: ‘I gotta get the hell out of here … ok … I’m talking nonsense!!! Either way … me in my white dress.’

Meanwhile, on the same day, her father Jamie said Britney’s struggles with ‘addiction and mental health issues’ are far more serious than the public knows, in newly filed documents.

Money maker: Britney: Piece of Me, opened in December 2013 at the Planet Hollywood resort in Las Vegas, Nevada, and finished in December 2017, after grossing close to $138million

Jamie filed court documents where he claimed people would ‘praise’ him if they knew ‘highly confidential’ information about the severity of the star’s issues.

In a 15-page filing to Los Angeles County Court filed earlier this month, he said: ‘If the public knew all the facts of Ms. Spears’ personal life, not only her highs but also her lows, all of the addiction and mental health issues that she has struggled with, and all of the challenges of the Conservatorship, they would praise Mr. Spears for the job he has done, not vilify him.’

‘But the public does not know all the facts, and they have no right to know, so there will be no public redemption for Mr. Spears.’

In the filings, Mr. Spears denied being in control of Britney’s prescription drug plan and said medication was supervised by former conservator Jodi Montgomery.

Keeping the peace: Mr. Spears said that he was willing to step aside in order to keep his daughter from having to deal with a draining ‘public feud’

Ms. Spears complained about being forced to take mood stabilizing drugs like Lithium during a recent court appearance.

Mr. Spears says her treatment plan was agreed upon with Montgomery, Britney’s late psychiatrist Dr. Benson, her ex-lawyer Sam Ingham III, and other medical experts.

Furthermore, he claimed his main role in Britney’s medical treatment was paying the bills, noting that Montgomery was given $10k a month to handle the matter but medical costs often ‘went over that sum.’

Spears stressed his only aim has been to ‘save’ his daughter, adding: ‘There is no doubt that the Conservatorship saved Ms. Spears from disaster, supported her when she needed it the most, protected her and her reputation from harm, and facilitated the restoration of her career.’

And while he acknowledged that Britney felt ‘constrained’ by her treatment plan, the docs say the treatments were joint decisions made to safeguard her from self-harm.

But Mr. Spears added that he was willing to step aside in order to keep his daughter from having to deal with a draining ‘public feud.’

Still, he said he should not be removed or suspended, but plans to step down at an appropriate time.

Spears has been in a conservatorship since 2008 following a highly pubic breakdown.

But recently she’s been fighting to get out of the arrangement, which oversees her personal life, medical treatment and financial affairs.

Green with envy: It appeared Britney had a similar dress in a different colour – that she posted on the same day
