Britney Spears flashes her toned midriff in latest Instagram selfie

Britney Spears flashes her toned midriff in a tie-front top for her latest ethereal Instagram self-portrait… amid new developments in conservatorship case

Britney Spears recently returned to Instagram after taking a nearly two week break from the platform.

And the pop star, 38, continued to whip up new content by sharing numerous filtered selfies with her 26.8million followers on Friday.

Her seemingly easy-going post comes amid news that her father Jaime allegedly abruptly hired a new business manager without telling her in an effort to retain ‘full functional control’ of her money and material, as per TMZ.

Instead of uploading three different self-portraits, the Womanizer singer opted to share the exact same photo three times, but each with a different filter.

Britney had her lengthy golden blonde hair parted down the middle and styled in a myriad of beachy waves that flowed down her chest.

She was rocking her signature smokey eyeliner look and she fastened a stunning pearl choker around her neck.

Spears put her toned midriff on display by rocking a white blouse that she tied in the front.

She posed with her head cocked to one side and with her eyes staring directly into the camera lens.

Instead of writing out a caption, the hitmaker decided to leave a trio of kiss emojis in its place.

Earlier this week, Britney uploaded a brief clip addressing her Instagram absence and insisted that she is doing ‘fine’ and currently the ‘happiest’ she has ever been.

‘So, I know there have been a lot of comments and a lot of people saying a lot of different things about me, but I just want to let you guys know that I am fine,’ said Spears.

The Toxic singer donned a white cropped peasant blouse that hung off her shoulders and her favorite pair of kaki shorts.

Her bangs were partially swept away from her face, while the rest of her hair flowed down her chest in soft tendrils.

‘I’m the happiest I’ve ever been in my life and I am sending you guys a lot of prayers, wishes, and a lot of love,’ she concluded.

Shortly after sharing her clip, Britney uploaded two selfies and admitted that one of them ‘was taken over the weekend,’ while the other ‘was a shot [she] took 3 months ago that [she hadn’t] shared yet.’

Don’t worry: ‘So, I know there have been a lot of comments and a lot of people saying a lot of different things about me, but I just want to let you guys know that I am fine,’ said Spears

Her most recent self-portrait was gave fans an up close and personal view of the Lucky songstress, while the later shot showcased her ample assets.

Spears last posted to her Instagram page on October 19, which happened to be a few selfies and a video of herself dancing to Madonna’s 1990 track Justify My Love.

Despite attempting to provide them with some reassurance, Britney’s 26.7million followers had a mixed reaction to Monday’s video, with many of the comments stating that they ‘don’t buy’ that she is ‘fine.’

‘If you have to tell people you’re fine and you look like this, you’re not fine,” wrote one concerned fan in her comment section.

Another said that, from their perspective, Britney looked ‘terrified’ in the video, possibly referencing to the singer’s wide-eyed expressions.

‘I love you Britney, but you don’t look happy, you look more exhausted, I hope I am wrong,’ read one sympathetic comment.

The collective concern stems from Spears’ ongoing legal battle with her father Jamie, 68.

She’s been under a conservatorship since 2008, giving her father total legal and financial control over her life.

The #FreeBritney movement picked up traction last January, as rumors and conspiracy theories surfaced, claiming that her father was abusing his power in the role.

Directly referencing to the conservatorship battle, one follower wrote: ‘Get your freedom babe.’

While many did not find comfort in Britney’s Instagram upload on Monday, some fans chose to flood her comment section with love, even remarking on how ‘good’ she looked.

‘You’re lookin good Britt. We love you,’ wrote one thoughtful commenter, which happened to be a statement mirrored by several others.

Clearly having missed sharing her life at home with her fans, Britney also decided to post a video of herself dancing up a storm in her spacious living room.

‘Dancing is such a vulnerable thing !!!!’ gushed the star, who had her toned tummy on display in a black sports bra and a pair of patterned pajama shorts.

In her post’s caption, Spears wrote about how ‘performing for thousands of people is a cool feeling,’ but that she ‘also find joy in dancing for myself !!!!!’

‘The language of dance is really beautiful ⭐️ !!!! You say so much without saying a word … using your body to express the way you feel !!!! Live and express your body any way you want !!!!!!!’ she concluded.

Britney’s sudden disappearance from social media nearly two-weeks ago occurred shortly after she had landed a small victory in her conservatorship case.

At the time, court papers revealed that the judge proceeding over the case granted her petition request to expand her legal team.

Just before the hearing, father Jamie’s lawyer Geraldine Wyle attempted to block the request, noting in documents that her dad is attempting to come to an agreement with Bessemer Trust Company, whom Britney wants to be her sole conservator.

According to court papers, the father-of-three is not opposed to the trust company, so long as they serve as a co-conservator with him.

Wyle stated that they ‘continue to make progress in reaching a concrete and workable understanding with regard to fees and the structure of the ongoing estate administration.’

Britney’s lawyers previously stated that she does not agree with her dad’s ‘vision of a future in which she resumes performing and leaves the management of her estate completely to him as she did in the past.’

On Wednesday, Britney claimed that her father Jamie Spears hired Miller Kaplan’s Michael Kane to oversee her business affairs, as per TMZ.

She asked the court that the organization Bessemer Trust Company be awarded total control of her conservatorship, stripping the power away from her father, who has been in the role for 12 years.

The Lucky singer in legal docs said that on October 28, her camp received a letter informing her that her business affairs were no longer being managed by the company Tristar Sports and Entertainment Group, the outlet reported.

Britney told the court she had no advance notice Tristar was vacating the position, and that her father Jamie swooped in and put Kane in the position in an effort ‘to introduce a new gatekeeper who admittedly has a major working relationship with [Jamie’s] legal team.’

Britney said that she was never able to interview Kane or sign off on his hiring prior to Jamie putting him in the high profile position.

Britney earlier this year asked the court to relieve Jamie as the co-conservator of her estate and place it in the custody of the Bessemer Trust Company.
