Britain’s richest solo TV presenter has amassed a fortune of £18.6MILLION – and it ISN’T who you’d expect
Bradley Walsh has been revealed as Britain’s richest television presenter after amassing an eye-watering fortune of £18.6million.
The star’s bank balance increased by £3.5m over the past 12 months, making him the wealthiest solo TV host, according to figures from his WingIt Productions firm.
While many may have suspected telly favourites Ant and Dec to take the top spot, it is only their combined wealth that overshadows Bradley’s total.
A TV insider said: ‘Bradley really is at the top of his game right now and is raking it in. He’s firmly established himself at the top of his profession and is the go-to man for both the BBC and ITV.
‘And that shows no signs of slowing down either, as viewers can’t get enough of him.’
Wow! Bradley Walsh has been revealed as Britain’s richest television presenter after amassing an eye-watering fortune of £18.6million
Bradley, 62, who is known for his versatile entertaining abilities as an actor and presenter, hosts The Chase, spin-off Beat The Chasers and Blankety Blank.
He also stars in ITV’s Darling Buds Of May adaptation The Larkins. Before this he used to present classic game show Wheel Of Fortune.
Viewers also saw Bradley take on a documentary style series, when he worked on Breaking Dad with his son Barney.
The father and son duo will also front the BBC One’s Gladiators reboot later this year.
Earlier this year, a former question writer who worked on The Chase, heaped praise on Bradley, admitting he is ‘one of the main reasons the show works’.
The TV personality has been fronting the hit quiz show since 2009, appearing in over 1,000 episodes.
Consequently, the ITV favourite has witnessed maximum success – beating This Morning to Best Daytime Show at the 2022 TV Choice Awards.
But, the one of the keys behind that success – says Fraser Cameron – is Bradley.

Fraser was one of a group of question writers on the ITV game show, including four-time world quiz champion Olav Bjortomt who has been on the show since the first episode.
And speaking to Radio Times, he was full of praise for Bradley, admitting he turns a ‘normal sounding question’ into ‘comedy gold’.
He explained: ‘He [Bradley] reads the multiple-choice questions for the first time on air, so his reaction is genuine shock.
‘We try to push what is decent at teatime by using words like plums or beaver, or slightly rude words in strange contexts.
‘If we’re writing funny options, they’re usually option C, as the last punch line at the end.
‘Bradley is one of the main reasons why the show’s so popular — he can take a very normal-sounding question and turn it into comedy gold.’
Fraser wasn’t the only one to shower praise on the former Coronation Street actor this year.
Long-standing: Bradley has been hosting the hit quiz show since 2009, appearing in over 1000 episodes
Chaser Anne Hegerty previously spoke to Express about working alongside Bradley being one of her favourite parts of the show.
She said: ‘Oh I have too many favourite things. Possibly working with Brad.
‘He is just this legendary presenter, and he is just such a nice guy, all the Chasers have such a nice rapport with him. But also the fact that it is a job that I can do.
‘It is sort of tailor-made for me and I can earn a decent living just by doing a few hours of work every day, which is brilliant. So it suits me down to a tee.’
