Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions FIRST look! Reformatted show will return in TWO weeks as explosive new trailer welcomes back a host of familiar faces
Fans have been given their first look at Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions in an explosive trailer that promises plenty of excitement when the show airs in a fortnight’s time.
As well as returning judges Simon Cowell, David Walliams, Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon, the reformatted show will feature an array of finalists from the Britain’s Got Talent global franchise, among them a variety of acts unknown to British viewers.
But there are plenty of familiar faces on show in its first full trailer, which aired exclusively on Friday morning’s edition of Good Morning Britain.

Regular presenters Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly kick things off in typically patriotic fashion by waving union jack flags at an exhilarated audience as the show gets underway.
And with the presenters standing on the sidelines, show favourites including English tenor Paul Potts – whose life was transformed after winning the first series – and street dancer George Sampson return to the stage.
Elsewhere there’s a welcome appearance from father and son duo Stavros Flatley, with then series three finalists ripping off their shirts as they perform a manic dance routine.

Make way: Current champion Colin Thackery will also be appearing on the show
Ashleigh Butler also returns for the first time since the death of her beloved dog Pudsey, with whom she won the show in 2012.
While Pudsey’s absence is keenly felt, the dog trainer is joined by new dog Sulley.
However she has competition from second dog trainer Alexa Lauenburger, who is seen commanding a troupe of canines to walk single file on their hind legs.
Lost Voice Guy Lee Ridley, the first stand-up comic in Britain to use a communication aid in his routines and a surprise winner in 2018, is also seen making his way onstage aboard a disability scooter.

Other former stars making an appearance in the new trailer include Scottish singer Jai McDowall, magician Ben Hart, musical theatre group Collabro and current champion Colin Thackery.
However there is no place for Susan Boyle, who originally signed up for the show before pulling out at the 11th hour due to a scheduling clash.
British dance group Diversity will also be notably absent when the show launches due to other commitments, among them their biggest world tour to date.
With production values higher than ever, the trailer is filled with impressive pyrotechnics and dramatic stage effect, prompting gasps of amazement from judges, hosts and studio audiences alike.

Each week, two acts make it through to the grand finale – the first is a Golden Buzzer act chosen by one of the judges or Ant and Dec while the second is voted through by superfans in the arena audience.
International acts set appear include Ukrainian sand artist, Kseniya Simonova; Danger act, Deadly Games; Alexa Lauenburger and what could be the most terrifying performer yet, The Sacred Riana.
Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions will run for six weeks from August 31.
