Billie Eilish celebrates award for Best Song in a black ruffle dress

Delighted Billie Eilish lifts her Oscar in the air as she celebrates her win for Best Song in a black ruffled mini dress with her brother and co-writer Finneas O’Connell at the Vanity Fair party

Billie Eilish was beaming from ear to ear as she posed with her Best Song award alongside her brother and co-writer Finneas O’Connell at the Vanity Fair after party for the 94th annual Academy Awards on Sunday.

The singer, 20, received the award for her James Bond theme song No Time To Drive, which she performed during the coveted ceremony earlier in the evening before heading to the very star-studded bash.

Billie was sporting a black satin mini dress for the bash, which was not disimilar to the huge ruffled gown she took to the red carpet in at the beggining of the ceremony.

Smashed it! Billie Eilish was beaming from ear to ear as she posed with her Best Song award alongside her brother and co-writer Finneas O’Connell at the Vanity Fair after party for the 94th annual Academy Awards on Sunday

Billie teamed her look with a pair of black tights and chunky platform biker boots, while wearing her raven tresses in a glossy blown out bob.

The Bad Guy hitmaker looked jubilant as she lifted her golden statue in the air and pulled tongues, before bringing the award to her lips and planting a kiss on it.

Meanwhile, Finneas – known professionally as FINNEAS – looked dapper in a black tuxedo, which he wore with a white shirt, as he wore his ginger hair swept back off his face and sported a smattering of stubble.

Head turner: Billie Eilish turned heads as she hit the red carpet at the star-studded 94th annual Academy Awards, which were held at the iconic Dolby Theatre in Hollywood on Sunday

Billie and her brother FINNEAS earned their first ever Oscar as they beat out an impressive field including Beyonce to earn Best Original Song.

No Time To Die beat out Beyoncé’s Be Alive from King Richard, the Lin-Manuel Miranda-penned Dos Oruguitas from Encanto Van Morrison’s Down To Joy from Belfast, and Reba McEntire’s Somehow You Do from Four Good Days, which was written by Diane Warren.

The pop megastar and 24-year-old older brother were recognized for their work on No Time To Die from the James Bond film of the same name.

Billie also made history with her performance by becoming the youngest person to win three major awards for the same song, as well as being the first person born in the 21st century to win an Oscar.

They did it! Billie was able to celebrate with her brother Finneas on the night

Plus one: Earlier in the evening, Billie and her brother/collaborator Finneas killed it on the red carpet

The two siblings made sure to thank their parents – Maggie Baird and Patrick O’Connell – ‘who have always been our biggest inspirations and our heroes. We love you as parents and we love you as real people, too.’

Earlier in the evening, Billie turned heads in a huge black ruffled off-the-shoulder gown with a lengthy train that trailed behind her as she posed for shutterbugs.

Eilish is set to perform her Bond theme song, No Time To Die, which is nominated in the Best Original Song category at tonight’s ceremony.

Success! The delight was clear to see on Billie’s face

Eilish wore her raven tresses parted to one side and flipped up at the ends and drew attention to her ice blue eyes with a bold cateye flick.

Her makeup look for the evening was created by beauty pro Rob Rumsey, who used a range of products from Charlotte Tilbury ahead of the singer’s glamorous red carpet appearance.

Rob used the brand’s popular Charlotte’s Magic Cream Light to prep Billie’s complexion, before applying the Beautiful Skin Foundation and Magic Away Concealer on her skin. Her lasting glow came courtesy of the Nudegasm Face Palette, while her eyes were accentuated with the Pillow Talk Push Up Lashes Mascara and the Luxury Palette in The Sophisticate and Golden Goddess.

As for accessories, the Grammy Award-winner rocked a variety of glitzy silver rings and a pair of sparkly stud earrings.

Flawless: Her complexion looked matte and flawless thanks to the pros at Charlotte Tilbury, with her cheeks doused in baby pink blusher

Finneas looked dapper in a classic black tuxedo styled with a crisp white dress shirt and black bow tie. The musician’s facial hair was neatly groomed and his strawberry blonde hair was slightly tousled.

The brother-sister duo posed confidently beside one another before heading inside the venue.

No Time To Die accompanies the Bond film of the same name, which hit theaters in November 2021 following a slew of delays caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

Reaction: After making her stroll down the red carpet on Sunday, fans of the Bad Guy singer eagerly took to Twitter to react to her bizarre gown – with some even going as far as to compare it to the getup worn by the supervillain Ursula from Disney’s The Little Mermaid

Bedsheets: Another jokingly penned, ‘Where did #billieeilish get that black fitted sheet from, her bedroom? I’m SCREAMING’

Inspired: One Twitter wrote that the singer’s gown inspired them to ‘take my living room curtain and make a robe’

There’s the rest: Taking a jab at Kristen Stewart and Timothee Chalamet’s barely-there Oscar looks, a fan tweeted out that Eilish is simply ‘wearing the rest’ of their outfits

Moriticia Addams approved! She was also compared to a piece of decor that’d catch the eye of Addams Family matriarch Morticia

Eerily specific: The dress was also compared to an eerie black faux Christmas tree

Comfort over style: Among the brutal criticism and comparisons, several Twitter users commended Eilish’s choice of dress

Confused: ‘Billie I love you but what is this,’ penned one fan, who included an image of Eilish on the red carpet

Eilish and Finneas’ track premiered in January 2020 and went on to score the Grammy Award for Best Song Written For Visual Media during the 2021 ceremony.

After making her stroll down the red carpet on Sunday, fans of the Bad Guy singer eagerly took to Twitter to react to her bizarre gown – with some even going as far as to compare it to the getup worn by the supervillain Ursula from Disney’s The Little Mermaid.

‘What the hell is Billie Eilish wearing?’ wrote one user, who included a gift of Ursula with their critical tweet.

A rug? ‘What is Billie Eilish wearing? Kinda rug like? Okay,’ read another Oscars tweet

Brutal: ‘Billie Eilish can donate her dress to a funeral parlor to be used as curtains,’ another joked

She was also compared to a piece of decor that’d catch the eye of Addams Family matriarch Morticia, as well as an eerie black faux Christmas tree and a parachute.

Among the brutal criticism and comparisons, several Twitter users commended Eilish’s choice of dress.

‘Billie Eilish has the right idea about red carpet outfits. She could be wearing sweatpants under that dress and no one would know,’ one wrote.
