Beyonce fans turn to GoFundMe to raise funds for upcoming Renaissance world tour: ‘Just help please’
Diehard Beyoncé fans have found a creative way to secure tickets to the star’s upcoming Renaissance world tour.
Days after the 41-year-old announced her return to the stage following a seven-year break from touring, some people have created GoFundMe accounts to offset ticket costs.
Multiple crowdfunding accounts have emerged, with one account amusingly pleading, ‘Just help please.’
Goal amounts range from several hundred dollars to a couple of thousand, as donors have so far tipped anywhere from $5 to $100.
Pre-sale tickets have already been made available in the UK and they go on sale in the US next week.

One fan who set up a GoFundMe page in hopes of scoring tickets thoroughly described his desire to see Beyoncé live in concert.
‘Hello I’m Jamaal and yes it is that serious. This is the only life experience I care about living before I die,’ he wrote online.
‘I will get those front row tickets either way but this way is safer than selling my kidney on the black market,’ he continued hilariously.
He then curbed his humor as he said, ‘All jokes aside, just being in the building would be the most amazing thing ever. So help a brother out if you can. Remember cents turn into dollars. Every little bit helps. Thanks, guys, in advance.’
Another person named Nadiya created a collage including pictures of Beyonce and herself, throwing in a couple of memes.
Striving for a $2000 fundraising goal, she wrote: ‘I know what you’re saying. Ain’t nobody ’bout to give me $2000 to see Beyoncé but just hear me out.
‘I’ve loved Beyoncé since I was two years old. …I just need to see her live and smell the same air as her. So I will take anything to help.’

Hundreds of thousands of Bey’s fans have already entered virtual queues for pre-sale tickets, with a staggering 400,000 currently waiting in line for tickets to one of her two London performances.
With many fans looking for tips and tricks to land seats at the shows, CheapoTicketing’s CEO, James Collins, has shared his list of recommendations for purchasing tickets to see the hitmaker who could potentially take home the Album of the Year distinction at the upcoming Grammy Awards.
Collins first advised Beyoncé’s fans to be ready for when ticket sales go live by signing into purchasing sites thirty minutes before the seats are made available to the public and having any payment information ready to go.
He also recommended that fans keep multiple browsers open and to use different VPNs in an effort to maximize their chances of purchasing a ticket.
The singer will take her latest album Renaissance on the road, with the tour beginning in Europe this May before concluding in North America in September.
Beyoncé released Renaissance, her seventh studio album containing the hit track Break My Soul, in July 2022.
The album has earned Beyoncé nine nominations at the upcoming Grammy awards.
As with previous tours, Beyoncé will make her mark offstage, too, with BeyGOOD, the initiative she founded in 2013 to support people and programs around the world.
The world tour comes after Beyoncé returned to the stage with a grand performance in Dubai last month, marking her first concert in four years.
The musical icon was taking to the stage to celebrate the opening of new luxury hotel Atlantis The Royal, which managed to draw out a bevy of international stars.
Despite the high profile of the event, the hitmaker tried to tamp down on the publicity by banning recording and forcing attendees to lock up their phones ahead of the show.
