Bella Hadid addresses viral clip of not being able to buy Louboutins

Bella Hadid addresses viral video where she discussed the struggle of not being able to buy Louboutins in high school: ‘I’m sorry it sounded pathetic’

She caught some slack from a Vogue interview earlier this year.

And Bella Hadid had no problem addressing the elephant in the room after admitting she ‘sounded pathetic’ after complaining about not being allowed to buy Louboutins until she graduated high school.

The 25-year-old supermodel caught wind of a viral clip breaking down her ‘Bella Hadid Breaks Down 15 Looks From 2015 to Now’ interview with the famous publication circulating on TikTok and took to the comment section.

Yikes: Bella Hadid had no problem addressing the elephant in the room after admitting she ‘sounded pathetic’ after complaining about not being allowed to buy Louboutins until she graduated high school

Bella took a walk down memory lane as she sat at a desk reviewing a few of her favorite looks from the past few years.

‘I never, growing up, had anything designer,’ she said in the video. ‘My mom wouldn’t let me. I think I got my first pair of Louboutins when I graduated high school.

‘It makes me emotional actually, because I’m so happy in this picture, for the first time in my whole adult life.’

An innocent enough statement became fan fodder for a @defnoodlesspicy video, a famous YouTuber who’s known for analyzing influencer habits.

‘I feel good about myself, I felt beautiful,’ she said of her 2021 self. ‘Compared to the girl that I see like in the beginning, she was so sad. I feel blessed that I made it out alive of that mental state I was in for so many years.’

DefNoodles, who’s real name is Dennis Feitosa, ended his TikTok video with: ‘Wow, that was so relatable.’

‘The context of this was that a lot of people think I grew up buying and wearing designer things…I never take anything I ever had for granted & I feel undeserving at times but I wore this same pair of shoes, that were given to me as a gift, for the first 3 years of my career,’ she wrote on TikTok.

‘To every job, go see, or meeting. The metal is all that is left of the bottom of the heel,’ she wrote with a laughing emoji.

She added: ‘I’m sorry it sounded pathetic, but 1. Bad story to tell and 2. I agree, I can’t listen to myself talk either.’
