‘Basketball Wives’ Star Gloria Govan Arrested For Felony Child Endangerment

Basketball Wives star Gloria Govan has been arrested on charges of felony child endangerment in the aftermath of an apparently pretty extreme physical fight with her ex-husband, former NBA star Matt Barnes.

According to sources with direct knowledge of the events, Barnes was scheduled to pick up the pair’s kids from school on Friday afternoon, as he apparently has custody of them over the long Labor Day weekend.

Well, five minutes before school ended, Gloria arrived to get the boys, and put them in her car just as Matt arrived. He allegedly told the boys to get in his car — which, TMZ says, it appears they did — after which Gloria “flew into a rage,” following Matt’s car and eventually blocking it while screaming and cussing.

Somebody called 911, and police showed up. Eventually, Govan was cuffed and booked for child endangerment, as well as for violating a court order.

Matt had the proper paperwork showing that the kids were supposed to be with him for the long weekend, too, and cops let him go on his way with the children.

Apparently, Govan later was able to post $100,000 bail, and she was released on her own recognizance.

Still, not a great look for her — just another incident in what’s been a seemingly-endless series of controversies and issues involving these two and their perpetually-salacious relationship stories.

Ugh!
