‘Bachelorette’ Becca gets engaged in $18K gown

She may have just gotten engaged to controversial contestant Garrett Yrigoyen on Monday night’s finale of “The Bachelorette,” but Becca Kufrin is already dressing like a bride.

To accept Yrigoyen’s onscreen proposal — along with a Neil Lane engagement ring featuring nearly four carats of diamonds — Kufrin, 28, wore a white Randi Rahm halter gown worth a whopping $18,000.

According to the designer, it took over 250 man hours to hand bead the dress, which is completely covered in iridescent sequins. An additional week of work was required to hand sew Rahm’s couture creation.

“From the day she saw it, Becca wanted this gown,” the show’s stylist Cary Fetman told Page Six. “It was one of the first things we picked out [for the season]. What’s so amazing about it is its lightness; when you lift it, it’s only a pound or two. She was like, ‘I feel like I’m wearing nothing!’”

Fetman added the gown’s beachy yet formal feel suited the final episode’s setting perfectly. “When I found out where we were going for the finale [the Maldives] and knew how hot it was going to be, it was just perfect,” the stylist explained. “And when you see it in person, in the sunlight, it’s got this amazing iridescent seashell effect. She looked like a mermaid in it.”

Over the course of the season, Kufrin has worn 15 different dresses by Rahm, a longtime franchise favorite. Along with her finale gown, standouts included the pearl-embellished white gown Kufrin wore for the season premiere (the most expensive of her many Randi Rahm looks, at $22,000) and the trumpet-shaped black “Barbie” gown she sported in Park City.
