Ariana Grande may have had a challenging / embarrassing rollout of her debut live TV performance of her latest – and now likely Billboard No.1 – single, “Thank U, Next” yesterday on The Ellen Degeneres Show. But she handled the performance of another of her current hits, “Breathin,” on the same show without a hitch.
Of course, Ariana’s performance of “Breathin” was a lot more stripped down than her ambitious first-time staging of “Thank U, Next.” “Breathin” had no costumes, no backup dancers … and no choreo.
Instead, Ariana just relied on her voice. And that rarely if ever lets her down.
